<p>This article examines the private law implications of using generative artificial intelligence in the provision of legal services. Based on an analysis of Russian law, judicial practice, and foreign legal materials, it argues that liability cannot be automatically shifted from the legal service provider to an algorithm. The article identifies the limits of disclosing client information to external digital services and proposes a differentiated standard for verifying AI‑generated outputs depending on the legal significance of the task. It concludes that contractual clarity and mandatory human oversight are essential when preparing legally significant documents.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>artificial intelligence</kwd><kwd>legal services</kwd><kwd>contractual liability</kwd><kwd>law</kwd><kwd>judicial practice</kwd><kwd>good faith</kwd><kwd>commercial litigation procedure</kwd><kwd>civil procedure</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>искусственный интеллект</kwd><kwd>юридические услуги</kwd><kwd>договорная ответственность</kwd><kwd>право</kwd><kwd>судебная практика</kwd><kwd>добросовестность</kwd><kwd>арбитражный процесс</kwd><kwd>гражданский процесс</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">[1] Разуваев Н. В. Право цифрового общества: актуальные проблемы и пути развития // Российский журнал правовых исследований. 2021.
