Статья посвящена проблеме формирования риторической компетентности сотрудников НИИФСИН России. Актуальность исследования обусловлена усилением роли коммуникативных процессов в научной сфере и необходимостью педагогического осмысления риторической составляющей профессиограммы сотрудника ведомственного научного учреждения. Автор уточняет понятие «риторическая компетентность» применительно к академическому дискурсу, выделяет ее социокультурные, нравственно-этические и лингвистические компоненты. Делается вывод о целесообразности системного развития риторической компетентности в рамках дополнительного профессионального образования

The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of rhetorical competence of the staff of the Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The relevance of the research is due to the increasing role of communicative processes in the scientific field and the need for pedagogical understanding of the rhetorical component of the professionogram of an employee of a departmental scientific institution. The author clarifies the concept of “rhetorical competence” in relation to academic discourse, highlights itssocio-cultural, moral, ethical and linguistic components. The conclusion is made about the expediency of the systematic development of rhetorical competence in the framework of additional professional education
