Статья посвящена философско-социологическому и клиническому анализу механизмов власти в пенитенциарных учреждениях, выходящих за рамки физического принуждения. На основе концепций М. Хайдеггера (временность как фундамент бытия), Ж. Делеза (переход от дисциплинарных обществ к обществам контроля) и М. Фуко (паноптизм как технология власти) обосновывается тезис о том, что режим отбывания наказания представляет собой форму онтологического насилия. Показано, что камера, конвой и расписание являются не просто элементами технической инфраструктуры, но инструментами деконструкции экзистенциалов – пространства и времени. Лишение свободы анализируется как принудительная трансформация темпоральности: замена линейного, проектного времени (бытия-к-смерти) циклическим, «пустым» временем ожидания, что ведет к деградации нарративной идентичности и формированию специфических психических феноменов. Делается вывод о том, что структурное и символическое насилие, встроенное в архитектуру и распорядок тотального института, создает предпосылки для формирования «пенитенциарной деменции» как экзистенциального исхода встречи человека с абсолютной властью

This article provides a philosophical, sociological, and clinical analysis of power mechanisms in penitentiary institutions that extend beyond physical coercion. Drawing on the concepts of M. Heidegger (temporality as the foundation of being), G. Deleuze (the transition from disciplinary societies to societies of control), and M. Foucault (panopticism as a technology of power), the study substantiates the thesis that the regime of imprisonment constitutes a form of ontological violence. It is demonstrated that the cell, the convoy, and the schedule are notmerely elements of technical infrastructure buttools for the deconstruction of existential structures — space and time. The deprivation of liberty is analyzed as a forced transformation of temporality: the replacement of linear, projective time (being-toward-death) with cyclical, «empty» time of waiting, leading to the degradation of narrative identity and the formation of specific psychic phenomena. The article concludes that structural and symbolic violence embedded in the architecture and routine of the total institution creates the prerequisites for the formation of «penitentiary dementia» as the existential outcome of the individual’s encounter with absolute power
