This article analyzes Carl Schmitt’s “Concept of the Political” in the context of hisphilosophy of history and constitutional theory. The central thesis is that the unity of Schmitt’s Weimar works is revealed in the desire to find forms of political and legal integration of society in the context of rampant rationalization, which led him to eliminate allrational mediations and elevate the distinc tion between friend and enemy to the constitutive principle of the political. Ittraces howSchmitt’s diagnosis of the erosion of state power—the pluralization of the political process, the expansion of administrative governance, and the subordination of norm-setting to the imperatives of scientific and technological progress. Itconcludes that the relevance of Schmitt’s legacy lies in itsfundamental question of the possibility of democratically managing the process of rationalization, which is becom ingeven more pressing in the context of globalization and digitalization

Настоящая статья посвящена анализу «Понятия политического» Карла Шмитта в контексте его философии истории и конституционной теории. Центральный тезис состоит в том, что единство веймарских работ Шмитта обнаруживается в стрем лении найти формы политико-правовой интеграции общества в условиях безудержной рационализации, что привело его к элиминации всех рациональных опосредований и возведе ниюразличения друга и врага в конститутивный принцип политического. Прослеживает ся, как шмиттовский диагноз эрозии государственной власти — плюрализация политиче ского процесса, экспансия административного управления, подчинение нормотворчества императивам научно-технического прогресса. Делается вывод о том, что актуальность шмиттовского наследия заключается в постановке фундаментального вопроса о возмож ности демократического управления процессом рационализации, который в условиях глобализации и цифровизации приобретает ещёбольшую остроту
